Specifications concerning the restrictions that will enter into force on Wednesday 25. March 2020 for the next two weeks in Egypt:
– Air traffic stopping and school closing will continue for two weeks until April 15. th.
– Curfew will enter into effect between 19.00 and 6.00 pm.
– All traffic (both public and private) will be suspended between 19.00 and 6.00
– All stores and special stores will be closed between 17.00 and 6.00 pm and the whole weekend (Friday and Saturday). Home delivery for example restaurants / cafés are operating between 6 and 17 Home delivery pharmacies should still work normally.
– Shopping malls open under curfew, but closed all weekend.
– Pubs / bars and amusement parks are completely closed.
– State services, such as licensing services, will be closed. Employees will also be reduced from both public and private sectors starting on 1. April. This is not about healthcare staff.
– Limits will be strictly monitored and violation can result in fine (LE 4000) and possible imprisonment.
